Event Tech: HyperSound Audio
This is an interesting solution for open environments/exhibits that want multiple high-volume high-quality audio stream in a specific space with limited sound spill.
Hyper-Sound throws a narrowly focused beam of audio across a space. Move into the beam and it feels like I'm wearing a 3D surround sound headset, until I move away. I wish they had this for Outside Lands : )
Instead of creating audio at the source (i.e. the speaker) this system takes the source output and injects audible audio onto the ultrasound beam to create audio in the air. That glass form factor is a next-gen bonus from the design side. Theoretically, any glass surface could now become an audio source. What if the glass on my iPhone WERE the speaker itself? Or if your car windows were all outputting audio?
