Description: EA One Team is sponsored by EA's Learning, Engagement and Performance group. (LEAP) This annual global leadership meeting is widely considered to be the most important internal event each year. In 2014 it was being hosted for the first time by the recently appointed CEO during a pivotal point in the company's thirty year history as a pioneer in gaming innovation. With the new CEO came a new opportunity to restructure the meeting format and learning environments. The event was executed on EA's campus in Redwood City, CA and included the transformation of their indoor basketball court for main stage sessions. A primary goal was to reinvent and modernize this legacy business meeting to be more interactive. Some key objectives were to turn every attendee into a participant and blur the lines between speaker and audience. This was partly achieved by the "agora" inspired space design, alongside a live graphic illustrator and stand-up breakout sessions. For a period of four months, I worked an an embedded Project Manager collaborating with a cross-functional team and directly supporting three LEAP VPs. I was accountable for successfully drafting and driving a project plan to keep the EA team aligned and on-task. I used the RACI matrix to improve team communication on critical deadlines. I made contributions to the development of videos and presentations. I was solely responsible was the development and activation of an event website and mobile app, which extended the conversation, improved networking and introduced live polling to this event.
